How this site is made, and what it does not do.
The maths behind the plate
The plate is a toy model: thousands of lattice random walkers drift toward the event you choose, and with probability β they take one of the shortcuts, jumping a long way at once. The histogram shows when they are absorbed. When both the fast (shortcut) and slow (diffusive) routes carry enough walkers, two peaks appear. The exact model from the paper — a lazy ring with one directed shortcut — is in Chapter 01.
How it was built
Designed and built with AI tools working to one specification, from a verified, privacy-tagged record of the years it describes. Every fact comes from that record; nothing private is published.

The name
周易 is also the Book of Changes — a manual for reading chance. 潇潇 is the sound of rain. Toneless, the name also reads 周一小小: a tiny Monday.
Xiaoxiao is pronounced ‘SHYOW-shyow’, /ʃjaʊ ʃjaʊ/.

No analytics, no cookies, no third-party requests. Your passport of stamps is kept only in your own browser, and you can clear it at any time.
